Measures of Help banned together and converted a cluttered loft area at Pathways To Home Shelter into an organized closet for their residents. With twelve volunteers we entered the shelter determined to make an open loft into a functioning closet. We started by clearing out the area and setting up the several clothing racks that were donated. The women of MOH ironed, sorted and hung the gently used clothing while the men of MOH put together shoe racks, a shelving unit and hung curtain panels.

The day began with a lot of energy and enthusiasm with the knowledge that we only had 5 hours to complete the project. The volunteers each entered with excitement and their eagerness fueled the day. We were able to complete the project and provide a neat and orderly closet by the end of the day (see pictures below).
