Measures of Help ended our year by preparing and hosting a Dessert Bar at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Beach, CA.

The volunteers baked cookies, cake, brownies, peach pie, rice crispy treats, cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberry. The residents loved the display of enjoyed the wonderful items that were created for them. Measures of Help also donated 30 bars of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant. Measures of Help would like to thank the beautiful women who came out and shared their time, talent and funds to make this event a success.

Many families travel far from home for several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured child which is a long time to be away or divide a family. for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. A Ronald McDonald House is that “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. Measures of Help was proud to donate to the Ronald McDonald House and we plan to partner with them again this year.
