Measures of Help partnered with Disciples On The Move to service men, women and children. The event was held in August at the intersection of Pacific and Winward Street, in Venice Beach, CA. Disciples On The Move is a non-denominational group focused on serving the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged. Disciples On The Move presents an annual event at Venice Beach where they bus in 300 homeless individuals from the downtown Los Angeles shelters. During this all day event the homeless are provided free food, music, prayer, clothing and hygiene kits along with resources to help them matriculate back into society.
