Founded in 1974, the Burbank Temporary Aid Center has been providing individuals and families, the working poor, crime victims, senior citizens, and the homeless with the short-term emergency assistance they need to live with dignity. The center provides daily showers, food and clothing for the under-served within their community. Edward, Donation Coordinator at the Burbank Temporary Aid Center stated socks and hygiene bags were GREATLY NEEDED. This time of year many people request socks due to cold weather. With El Nino, it was especially requested this year. Measures Of Help donated 45 personal hygiene bags (which included soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste and tooth brush) and 100 pairs of socks (45 men / 55 women).
